WOW! Entertainment Opens in Jefferson County Portion of Fenton
New $15 million family destination brings games, food and year round fun under one roof
A major new family entertainment destination has officially arrived in Jefferson County.
WOW! Entertainment celebrated its grand opening weekend at 138 Fiedler Lane in the Jefferson County portion of Fenton, unveiling a massive $15 million, 26,875 square foot eatertainment complex designed to bring families, friends and coworkers together for year round fun.
The Jefferson Review attended the grand opening and can confirm the early buzz is real. The food was impressive, the atmosphere energetic, and the activities kept guests moving throughout the facility. After trying both the curling and duckpin bowling, we left excited to return, especially to see the full miniature golf experience in action.
Built by ARCO Construction, the new venue packs an extensive lineup of attractions into one expansive space. Guests will find an 18 hole mountain style miniature golf course, eight lanes of duckpin bowling, four Topgolf Swing Suite simulators, a virtual reality arena, polysynthetic ice curling, four private karaoke lounges and multiple private event areas.
Three outdoor patios, including one perched on a mezzanine overlooking the golf course, help give the facility a true destination feel.
“We’re proud to bring WOW! Entertainment to the Fenton community as a place where people can come together and spend meaningful time with one another,” said Tommy Fernandez, director of operations. “From dining and drinks to games and events, this venue brings something for everyone.”
According to Jill Metherd, director of sales and marketing, the goal is to create a gathering place that serves the region throughout the entire year.
“WOW! Entertainment is a great addition to Fenton and the greater St. Louis area because it creates a place for families, friends and co workers to gather year round for fun shared experiences,” Metherd said. “It brings new jobs, supports local partnerships and is a destination for everything from birthday parties to corporate gatherings.”
Metherd emphasized that the combination of attractions and customer service helps set WOW! apart from traditional entertainment venues.
“What makes WOW! stand out is the amazing staff and the variety of attractions available under one roof,” she said. “Guests can sing their favorite songs in one of the karaoke lounges, tee off in a golf simulator, get a strike in duckpin bowling or step into immersive virtual reality in our ValoArena.”
Beyond the games, WOW! is clearly investing heavily in its food and beverage program. Fernandez said the scratch kitchen was intentionally designed to elevate the overall experience.

“We have a scratch kitchen with elevated classics and gourmet options, along with craft beers and cocktails at our sports bar,” he said. “Guests can enjoy food and beverages throughout the venue, including our outdoor patio spaces.”
Menu highlights include a warm Bavarian pretzel grazing board, buttermilk fried chicken tenders, Ozark Mountain chili, a hot and spicy smash burger and steak poutine. The venue also features a grab and go counter called WOW Z stocked with quick snacks and bottled beverages. Sports fans will appreciate the 75 televisions throughout the building, including 21 located in the sports bar.
Admission into WOW! Entertainment is free, with guests paying individually for attractions such as bowling and miniature golf. Some experiences, including karaoke suites, may require advance reservations. The facility also offers carryout food options for guests on the go.
The project is expected to create more than 85 local jobs, including servers, bartenders, line cooks, dishwashers and maintenance staff, adding another economic boost to the Jefferson County side of Fenton.
From what we experienced opening weekend, WOW! Entertainment is positioning itself as more than just another game venue. It is aiming to be a true community gathering place where families can spend an afternoon, friends can meet for a night out and local groups can host memorable events.
If the grand opening energy is any indication, Jefferson County families will have a new go to destination for fun very close to home.
